So my mom shook the water out and blow dried it.
The next morning we put it in rice and left it. The next night I took it out and turned it on, and it was working fine. The only thing wrong was the colors on the screen but I was okay with that. I then put it back in the rice without the battery just as I had done before. Now when I take the phone out of the rice and put the battery in, the phone will not cut on instead it just flashes up the carrier name over and over again. I hold down the power button and still nothing. The screen is just dark and keeps on lighting up. I would be eager to do an online claim but my father says the insurance on the phone would be cancelled but is this possible? Would they cancel my insurance. I just got this phone last week. I'm confused.
I'm scared they will cancel the insurance, because I had one phone and it had to be replaced due to a claim. Then that phone messed up so I had to get a new one due to a warrenty claim. So they gave me a new one no problem. So I am wondering can we do a insurance claim and just pay the fifty dollars. My carrier is Verizon. I don't want my insurance to be cancelled, and I drastically need a phone.
