laff...anyways...here's another thing you can try...if you've had your SIM for over a year or two it's probably time for a replacement...especially if it's gone from phone to phone or anything like that...remember people that SIM cards are RAM and go bad, for legit reasons or phantom ones, just like the RAM in your computer...but i digress...anyways a handfull of members have stated that getting a new SIM (free service from your provider) helped with quirky errors and bugs including turning that edge into EDGE...hope this helps
