i was wondering if a pontiac gto a reliable car to have?

okay so i been wanting a gto since for ever i had a pontiac gtp and wasnt really reliable, so i heard that gto is a corvette engine so did pontiac make it or did chevy and i wanted a gto badly and my parents say that pontiac isnt reliable but i heard that gto is not made by pontiac but they just own it please...... help i want to know if gto is relaible car

Yes, i have a Pontiac g5 and ive had no problems with it so far.Its an '07

An older GTO is so-so for reliability but are realy fast. They are equipted with a Pontiac engine.

The newer GTO's are based on the Austrailian built Holden and have a small block Chevrolet. The newer ones are probably more reliabile than the older ones.
