One wher they for or agaisnt westernization of japan, two what was their job exactly, and if they wher against westernization how come the tokugawa shogunate kept them around because i think ieyasu was the one who wanted japan westernised if im correct, if any of my information is wrong feel free to correct it as you answer the question^^ thanks in advance
