OK so i'm looking for my first car and have decided I really like the model of a 1988 Honda Civic. Unfortunately not many people are selling them, and if they are it is quite possible that something is wrong with it.
So do you think it is worth it waiting for the car to pop up in the classifieds or is there any other cars that have a similar model but newer but doesn't cost too much.? Thanks in advance!

1. Buying a twenty one year old car is it worth it?
2. If not what kind of car looks very similar to one but is newer but still affordable?
