I don't really have an opnion about whether this is true or not

But really mate... A thread on a forum asking for money? We don't even know you. You hardly ever post in the lounge. What did you expect people to think?
 
Don't know figured it was worth a try. I have read about people getting money from Something Awful forums and such and though I'd try my luck at the only forum I am really a part of. I guess this was a pretty lame idea!

You're not even here enough to know in-jokes like "moran" RAB. What's the chances total strangers will send you money.

No, actually I managed to scrounge up some some money to take my girlfriend out to her favorite sushi restaurant later tonight for valentine's day. Nice come-back though!

It was either that or "My Mother died several years ago and even when she was alive she never had a basement". I went for the pithier option.

I'm going to stay at a very expensive hotel, not tonight tho' tomorrow night.

Didn't have to scrounge any money to do it tho'. Two reasons for that 1, I've never tried to sell anything on the internet and B, My good Lady wife is treating me.

Good on you tho' the raw fish option is definitely the way to go. I can smell romance in the air.
