I hit the person from behind, and even though he stopped abruptly i acknowledge that I was at fault because I hit him. I may have to pay to fix the crack on his bumper, but I was wondering if i have any rights concerning how much it costs. if they give me an estimate for 500$ but my uncle who is a licensed body repair man can do it for 200$, is there anything I can do to where they have to let my uncle do it? There must be some law, otherwise they could make you spend a fortune!
