I was in a 3 car accident monday, i was rear ended while a truck and i where at a stop light.
Long story short, the vehicle that rear - ended me crashing into me thus pushing me forward into the truck. My car was crush (total lost) i did get injured from hitting my chest and chin on the steering wheel, and had a whip lash.
Part 2: I have contacted an attorney, i was advised to use my insurance to cover any medical and not the person's who had hit me.
Why would i need to use my insurance if i was not at fault? I was always under the impression if i hit a car i would be at fault and my insurance would need to cover them, and if i get hit their insurance would cover me, True or false? I stuck in the middle of who should cover me and why.
