I was prescribed Wellbutrin today for my stress, mood swings and anger outburst.?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever taken it and if it worked for them, and if they had any sever side effects from it. and how long does it take to start working with noticeable results! I just took my first dose tonight and I feel it has calmed me already, but not sure if its all in my head.
 
I take that med. I'd say I could feel it start working after a few days and it works fan-freaking-tastic for me. However, meds work differently for different people. I hope this one works out for you.
 
I have been on and off Wellbutrin over the years and it works great for me. Initially I was prescribed this medication for depression and now for PMDD. Honestly it takes the edge off everything. Better yet, you somehow never get to that "place" where you are just going to explode. It is a wonderful wonderful medication.
 
I just started taking wellbutrin a month ago. i started out on 348mg but now they moved me to the highest dosage. 522 i think. I didnt think the low dosage did much but the higher one i think gives me more energy. I had it for severe depression. And so far i think its working. I havnt had a lot of side effects but i think it might be effecting my memory because im forgetting things more and more. Short term type of stuff. And it hasnt effected it much but I think its effected my libido i guess you would say. And i can get an erection but it doesnt seem as hard as it used to when i was off of wellbutrin. But those are my only side effects.

Probably is just your head. Anti depressants take up to 6-8 weeks before full effect is in motion. You may have some relief after the first 2-3 weeks though. No one on here can accurately tell you what side effects you will have because these meds act differently for everyone.
