I took the medication for 4 days and misplaced the pills for 3 days over the weekend. I contacted my doctor and he authorized another prescription for the same medication, for 10 days. My symptoms are not going away. Help! It's miserable. Was it okay to prescribe the same medication for the same dose after it was initially prescribed and I didn't complete the entire prescription? Please advise.
I was prescribed Sulfameth/trimethoprim 800-160tabs for a urinary tract infection.?
