...I applied to a new school and was accepted! Will they give me financial aid back or do they have a right to take it away? I will definitely call the school but I just want to know your knowledge on this. but what about the fact that when you transfer to another school your GPA does not carry over.
NO I DID NOT NEGLECT TO MENTION MY OTHER SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY HAD TO RECEIVE MY TRANSCRIPT FROM THAT SCHOOL IN ORDER TO ADMIT ME IN. THE LADY IN THE FINANCIAL AID DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE I WAS A TRANSFER STUDENT THAT I WOULD GET MY FINANCIAL AID BACK BUT MY RECORDS IN MY ACCOUNT SAY "NO"
I am really confused I went to a community college to show that I am ready but is that not good enough. my account says unsatisfied but they dont have my classes that will transfer over up there! They told me it takes a while for things to go through and to check back in a week which I will do but I am getting nervous because I really want to go back to school. I dont understand why they would except me but not release my financial back to me but Like I said when i talked to the lady in the financial aid office over the phone she told me I was eligible and that it would take time for things to process. She even told me i was eligible for the academic competive grant and to mail it in quick.
