I was hiking with my dog ( Named Bunny, Shih tzu pug mix, quite small.) and I got down to tie my shoe and a man walked up the trail from behind me and my dog barked alot and growled and stayed next to me. I was wondering if this was just because she was scared, or something like that, or she was protecting me.
The man didn't look very aggressive to me and was walking at a slow pace, so I figured it was protection.
