I was looking for Ari Squire for years, but..?

I worked with him in the 90s. He co-owned a hospital I worked at. He was always very nice to sweet to me. So once email, classmates, myspace etc. came out I was looking for him. I recently found out that he is a murder suspect, and took his own life. I want to write a condolence blog, however what about the 20 year old that was killed. I am torn, because I want to be respectful. Any thoughts?
Ari is dead, and the victim is dead. How does one write good things about someone who took another life?
