Is it typical that nobody at my former employer will talk to me? It wasn't like I was fired. There was no work to do (it was a consulting firm, and there were no clients to bill). I didn't think that things would chance on a dime like this. I mean, I almost feel that everyone was wearing friendly a mask when I worked with them. Now that I've been laid off, they've taken off their masks to reveal their true, unfriendly and unhelpful selves. Please let me know if I'm off base in saying that I was pretty much shocked by this revelation. Thank you.
