...Preg test? My friend took a first response pg test a couple of weeks ago...She took it and layed it down on the counter and had to walk away for something that took a few hours so stupid her didn't look in the time frame she was supposed to...got back and looked at it and it had another line on it. It wasnt grey like i heard evap lines are supposed to be but like a pinkish almost light purple like a line that just wasnt showing up all the way....well she thought it could be an evap line so she took another one the next day and it was neg??? So im guessing thats what it had to be but just wondering if anything like this has ever happened to anyone else. She hasn't taken another one because the other test she took was neg....

First Response say to ignore any lines that appear after the recommended result viewing time, which is between 3 & 10 minutes. It says on the instructions, that even with a negative result, that additional lines CAN appear in the window after 10 minutes, that these lines should be ignored and the result is still negative, that is NOT pregnant. the fact that your friend took another test afterwords seems to confirm this result.

It's never happened to me, as I have never had to leave a test result, but I am assuming that since First Response mention this very thing in their instructions, means that it's not uncommon.
