wants me to send them a letter.? My boss and I do not get along. We had three arguments in the last 9 months. In our latest argument (not my fault) my boss went crazy and almost attacked me. The personnel Department wants me to send them a letter stating that I was sorry for the incident. If I send them this letter, could they use it against me later on to fire me? I never had a problem like this before in my life.
 
I know, there is such a thing as at will employment. So sad but it's very true. They can let you go for any reason unless you have enough evidence to sue them.
