affect accuracy of sobriety tests? Last night, I was in a fight and later on ( about an hour and a half later) I stopped for underage drinking. This was on the walk back to my room. I was given a sobriety test. For one my eye was almost swollen shut and could not very much in my left eye. All day today i have been feeling the symptoms of a concussion. How do concussions affect the accuracy of sobriety tests?? thanks for the help. I am going to go into the doctor tomorrow morning to check and see If i do have a concussion.
 
If you were given field performance tests (walk a line, touch your nose etc.), yes those can be affected by your earlier idiocy. But those still could show that you were impaired while driving, just not automatically drinking. So no effect on you walking.

If you mean a breathalyzer (you blow into a tube), your earlier problems are not an issue and has nothing to do with you being found in violation.
 
You can't be given an underage consumption ticket for simply appearing to be drunk, they would had to have tested you either with a breathalyzer, urine, or blood test. To answer your question though, yes, concussions make you unsteady on your feet and can make you appear to be drunk.
