What are the chances of me getting a waiver, due to it being my first offence, to join any military branch?

Slim to none. They didn't tell you how serious that drug use is? I don't know what excuses or explanation you can give but if you are serious about getting back in you might want to take a drug awrness/education classes and talk to someone who would really know like a military lawer. They can tell you exactly what say so as to improve your chances and not stick your foot in your mouth. With the right information it may be just a matter of time and taking the right steps.

The coast guard is a zero tolerance branch. Once you test positive for any drug you cannot re-enlist, EVER. At least not in the coast guard. Sorry to hear that I used to smoke to but I stopped because the Coast Guard is way more important than getting high for me.. good luck!!

0. the military has a no drug policy
