I,m very new to putty and i need some help. i only want too change a time out value on my server, i have a dedicated server using pleask, and i,m informed from my webhost that my dedicated server does not run the SSH terminal, so i down loaded putty, once i,m in putty i can see the value i want too change, but after high lighting the value i,m unable too change it, can anyone tell me how too do this, i have looked on many sites that refere to the use off putty but none seem to explain how to make the value i want too change writable and how to save the changes.
