I have a normal Verizon Wireless calling plan. My contract isn't up for another year but I want to upgrade to a smartphone (blackberry or droid). Will they break my contract and sign me up for another or will I have to pay full retail for the phone and add on the data plan to my existing plan? If they add data on and I'm required to pay full retail for the phone, is there any other way to break the contract and start over?
