I want to Start Photography !!! Help me please?

Hi Guys,
I want to start photography and my aim is to Start doing Photos of My freinds , and make them all a modeling portofolio .

What is a good camera to start off with ?
Im quite New
 
i recommand as an begginer photographer to use nikon D60, and then when u get more proffesional buy a nikon D300 , or canon 500D EOS
