How do I get started? I have a little spot in my backyard that I want to clear away and put some of that black dirt (what's it called?) and I want to grow some vegetables and few flowers. Do you put anything special in your fertilizer to help your plants out more? Any other tips or information you can give me? I've always had a bit of a green thumb but the most I've ever been able to do was pull weeds for my Tata (grandpa). He only let me watch b/c he's a bit protective of his yard.
