Right now I have a Nikon Coolpix. It's good, but not for real photography, and my father borrowed it and he dropped it, making a huge scratch. i like taking pictures and i would like to start photog. next april my family and i are taking a trip to north carolina and we're staying right on the beach, and the house is beautiful and its a private spot, thats another reason i want to get into photog. does anybody know any good cameras for beginners and some websites explaining terms and what i should know? THANKS!
