feed them? After reading about what goes into dog food, I want to start feeding my dogs food that I cook. What do you feed them, and can you give me some recipes? Like, what things should I feed my dogs, how much, and how often, stuff like that. They are both small dogs, Bichon Frises. They are like, 10 pounds so you get the idea of how much.

Also, I know for a fact my dad won't approve of this. What do I tell him? I want to tell him not to buy dog food anymore and I want to be in charge of feeding them, but how do I come out and say it?
 
please make sure you do tons of research before switching to make sure you are giving your dog a balanced diet.

there is more to home cooking than just feeding meat.
 
Though some places put crap into dog food dog food is designed to give dogs certain nutrients and things they need.

Sure cheap grocery store dog food is all corn which dogs weren't meant to eat corn but if you buy quality or specialty dog food it's better for them than what youw ould cook at home.

I buy Royal Canine specially designed for Bulldogs. It helsp with allergies and skin problems.
