I want to make a tv show?

i would like to make a tv show on disneychannel with my besties. My friend told me that we have to make a video and send it to the company and see if we get in. Is that true if not what do we do.
I really want to get started!
 
well first i would suggest acting lessons or singing or something. and also maybe you could start off on youtube and get some fans then send in an audition tape to disney channel. good luck :)
