(live in Los Angeles, CA)? Let me just start off with: I know absolutely nothing about plants other than you have to water them. lol
I want to make a garden in my balcony. I live on the second floor and have a pretty good size balcony... I can add lots of hooks on top and I have a pretty wide wooden rail.
I have always dreamed of having fruit trees but I dont know if any small fruit ones will produce fruit while they're small. i'm on the second floor and there is no other floors so height wont be an issue. (I would LOVE a fig tree... but i'm up for anything that can produce fruit while its small) Would it even be a good idea to have small trees on a balcony? maybe not huh? lol
I'd also like to have vegetables and herbs maybe. Which ones take up less space?
Please let me know what you think I should do, any opinions, suggestions or info is welcome... THANKS!
