I want to make a game from PHP, but can figure out how?

I wanted to start with the variable $money then make it so that when a user pushes a button it will show a prize from a list of prizes with odds to make some prizes show up each time more than others in a certain spot. Then each time that user pushes that button it will -1 off of the variable $money. I know that all of this will have to use MySQL coding, I just want to know how to code this.
