Hey I am looking to lower my 1998 acura integra. The wheel gap looks like a monster truck haha. It's atleast 5 inches of space. I was looking to know what I need to lower my car and how much I should lower it. I have 17inch wheels on it if you need to know that. Thanks!
alright thanks. I'm not lowering my car personally, just buying the parts. I know people who work on cars for a living and they're doing it for free. but alright thanks guys

buy some new springs and coil overs. Cutting clamping and heating is dangerous you will destroy your car, my friend heated hius sprigns on civic and blew his tires out when bottomed it out. You can prably find your self a cheap pair on ebay, integra is a fairly common car. Get a nice pair for around 300 and will handle like a dream. I would drop it 2-2.5 inchs

Do yourself a favor and buy name brand parts. Buy ACTUAL lowering springs, and camber kits for front and back. Also you replace your shocks with after market ones, cause your stockies are just going to blow out in a month after you lower it. Youre looking at around under 1000 total on parts, you said you were getting the install free.

Do some lurking on some car club sites of your car, they'll know the car inside and out and will be more than willing to give you any info you need. Google is your friend, use it.

replace the spring with coilovers or clamp them; they sell lowering clamps at Autozone, or just heat up the springs, that should do the trick but if you go that route your car will bounce a lot.
