I want to know what`s up with my gold fishes turning white?

I Bleed Blue!

I got my gold fish when they were just little things . We keep them at my dad`s store and they get plenty of sun in their tank. Just a few months after we bought them, the largest fish`s gills were getting white. Then a few more months after that, he was completely white! Now he is like a white pink color. And now the other one is doing the same thing, he`s turning white too. Both of them were just palin gold, and now I have albino gold fish. Could someone tell me why they are the color they are now? Please...

Without seeing the fish it's hard to know what the white stuff could be.

I wouldn't put the fish tank near a window. That sunlight is not good for the fish, and will promote algae growth.

I would advise getting an aquarium light.

You got your goldfish when they were juveniles. They grow and their color changes. It's normal. It will change more as they grow. A few word of advice: Goldfish, depends on type will need a lot of space to grow properly fancy will need 10 gal each at least and common will need over 20. Never put fishtank into direct sunlight. Fish are just happy having ambient light from any room. You need light for decorative purposes and direct sunlight will cause your water turn green and stinky from algae bloom. Healthy goldfish always looks hungry. Feed them twice a day only what they can eat in 2-4 minutes.
