I don't know about potatoes. I've never tried that when I lived
in Georgia, but we used to grow tomatoes, butter beans,
cucumbers, yellow squash ,okra, corn, strawberries, watermelons..and in the fall collard greens.
potatoes are easy yo grow. buy a bag of seed potatoes and cut them into pieces. you should have at least 2 eyes on each piece. make mounds with loose soil and plant them about 2 to 3 inches deep and about 2 to 3 feet apart. keep watered.
