I want to go fishing... when is the best time?

fresh water fishing to be exact... possible in a stream or river... I dont have a boat so I will have to be on the side of the river. I dont really care what kind of fish either... I just want to go fishing... Is there another time of the day that you can catch fish other then like the crack of dawn lol... like when is the best time when it is sunny outside?

You'll have the most luck when it's dark and cold. When it's very warm out, the fish get lazy and don't bite. You need a good spot, and the evening can be a good time. You can try during the day, but you just won't have as much success.
