i want to get two male betta fish but i cant seem to find a good tank. can someone recommend some betta fish tanks for me?
i know, i am looking for a tank with a divider, i am looking for something someone has used and know it works
i also need it to be nothing big, 2.5-5 gallons

do NOT put two bettas together espoecially in a small tank they will kill eachother. i would highly suggest getting a ten gallon aquarium and splitting the tank in two with a simple tank divider. thats what we do and it seems to work fine but other than that they need seperate tanks.

For two, don't get anything smaller then a five gallon. You will have less health problems in a larger tank. they sell dividers for tanks at any pet store. Just make sure it fits well against the sides i don't recommend a bow front tank. The dividers don't fit all the well and a betta will push against it till they can squeeze thru. Please..bettas are jumpers and will jump a divider to get at another male. That has happened to me twice so i quite using divided tanks. If you do use a five gallon, don't fill the water up to the top of the divider. leave a few inches.
Be sure and get a heater and with a five gallon, a soft filter would be best, either a sponge or even a under gravel..although i don't like them.

!!!!wait!!!!!!!!this is important!!!!!!!!if you get 2 male betta fits they will attack and kill each other!!!they are nicknamed japanese fighter fish!!!i use to have one named pizza and he attacked and killed my 15 minnows and 2 hermit crabs!!if you get 2 i suggest seperating them!my current betta lava attacks his own reflection!please trust me!!!dont get 2 if you want to have fish in the morning!i dont know what cages you should buy<but dont put them together!

Troublewolf54 has it exactly right. You need a minimum of 5 gallons for two, and have to make sure the divider can't be gotten over or around. I would recommend putting tall plants (either real or silk) all along the divider, like a screen, so the fish don't know the other one is there. If they can see each other, it will be very stressful for them.
I don't know if they make commercial dividers for 5 gallon tanks, I've never looked for one. I know they make them for 10 gallons, though. I suggest checking out some pet store web sites and see if anyone has them. If you can find one, they aren't very much at all. A basic rectangular tank will work just fine if you can find an appropriate divider. Good luck!
