You can't have 10 fish in a 10 gallon tank. You may have heard of the rule "one inch of fish per gallon of water?" That's not the rule to go by.
I suggest you just choose the guppies. If you want the catfish, you'll need to have a group of four minimum as they like to school, and a 10g tank isn't enough space for that group.
Three male guppies would be perfect in a 10g tank, but not the barbs. Barbs need to be in groups of four or five to feel safe, which would then overcrowd your 10g tank.
