I want to get a dirt bike?

ok...i want a dirt bike....BUT..my mom doesnt wasnt me to get one because my dad has been in 3 yes THREE motorcycle accicdents..(he rides a Harley Davidson) and if i get one my mom said its "a car or motorcycle" i have rode bikes before i have an ATV...but i want to ride trail and show off lol...
any tips for convincing my parents to get me one?
