Yet a-fucking-gain, My Sonic 3 cartridge has corrupted it's perfect save files. I had a file for each character with all 14 emeralds, and it corrupted every one.

FUCK YOU SEGA. Why the fuck couldn't you just make Sonic 3 one game instead of having to use that fucking "LOCK-ON TECHNOLOGY" bullshit with the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge?!

The S&K cart fucks up savegames so often it's not even funny! This is bullshit!

Now I gotta rebeat the motherfucker again :mad::mfinger:!

EDIT: Forgot to say that if both cartridges aren't meticulously clean, this shit happens. AND THESE FUCKERS WERE DIRTY! Since the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge works like a high-tech GameShark with extra game data and reads through hex addresses and substitutes it's own code when needed, this happens. Fuck. They are cleaned and working now.
 
What??? That's ridiculous. You dont take ur anger out on ur kids for some stupid ass shit like this. God. Lucky you don't have any kids. I would never let a game make me so upset I'd take it out on my girls.
 
Descent, do you ENJOY your reputation as this forum's SEGA nerd? I mean, come on! On the other hand, I have had a similar problem with my Xbox. It's one of the originals, which were built with shitty disc drives. Mine barely plays anything for more than five minutes before going retarded and suggesting that the disc I am using is dirty or damaged. FUCK YOU MICROSOFT!

The issue is I've always been unable to play any game for more than one hour at a time...

And I also have to be in the mood to play Sonic...
