I know there are at least SOME published authors on here, and I'm asking for your help.
I really would like to find an editor for my book, buy I have no idea how to do that. I am a first time writer and completely new at all of this.
My book is fiction. The main character is a 15 year old , Anna, who gets basically hunted down by a vampire. She realizes he is bad and tries to get rid of him, while dealing with a boyfriend, friends, parents, and all the other high school drama. (but please don't judge it by the whole 'vampire' thing. I have read many, many vampire books and I promise you it isn't like any of them.)
Like I said, I am a first time writer and I'm only 14. But I have been working on my book for nearly a year and I desperately want to get it published.
If anyone has any idea on finding editors who may help me, or if they even have some names that I could look up I would be very grateful.
Seriously, people. I'm not here for criticism and I really don't give a crap if you don't like what I'm writing about.
I started writing this book for ME and I have my personal reasons. All I'm asking for is some help. If you don't have any, then why bother?
By the way . . . for the first two answers at least.
It sounds like you two are pure GENIUSES. I'm sure you both know a LOT about authors and books.
Yeah . . . no. I'd be surprised if you've read more than fifteen books in your lifetime.
And I personally don't think you are in any position to criticize anyone else for accomplishing something you never could.
Sorry if that sounds harsh. But I am just really sick and tired of all of these people who don't know anything trying to be smart.
