I am a senior in highschool and have lived in a small town my whole life and for my gap year or at least a large chunk of it, like around six monthes, I would like to do some sort of extreme immersion in a foreign culture. I was constiering somehow living in the amazon jungle with a tribe or in some very small place where almost no english is spoken and I would constantly be chalenged to think in a different way. I have an extremely open mind and I have a very open personality. If not this, I was thinking a rural african village? I'm looking to the extremes... I am also looking to not spend a whole lot for his...like maybe three or four thousand dollars or less. Any ideas would be great, thanks
