I want to do research and write articles, but....?

Hey,

I have a gift. I want to do research and report my findings and write about different topics going on in the world. I'm more so interested in writing about people. I am a psych major. Are there any jobs that will allow me to do so? Once again, I am a psych major, pursuing my masters right now. That's the kind of job I'm searching for. Any ideas, or organizations where i can get started. I want to get paid for this. I want a job with flexibility 2!
 
You could get a PhD or PsyD and do research and write journal articles as part of a job at a university or lab, but you don't get paid to write the actual articles - many journals actually CHARGE you to publish in them - just to have the job as a researcher. If you want to get paid to write the articles, that would be working for a popular magazine or something similar.
