I have an engine of 1.5 L that is about to die. My car is a 97-98 Mazda Protégé LX with manual transmission. I was wondering if I can swap it for 1.8L. Do I have to change transmission? Do I have to change anything? What is the best place to get it from? And if it will not fit, what is the best swap? Thank you all for your help.
