I want to buy this SONY camera, but it's missing the 18-55 mm lens, is it still good?

I've been wanting to buy a SLR camera for a while and someone is selling me a Sony DSLR A330 camera, but it's missing the 18-55mm lens, but it comes with a 55-200mm lens.

I don't know much about cameras, so can anyone gimme heads up on what each lens is for. Thanks in advance.
