Here's my situation...
Last April, I renewed my contract with AT&T and got a BlackBerry Pearl. That phone broke later, and in October, I got a Samsung Impression (which I HATE). I want to get rid of the Impression and get a Blackberry Bold refurb ( it's free if you get a 2 yr contract). The problem is, my contract still in activation and I'm not yet eligible for an upgrade. ( and I'm NOT paying them $175 to end my contract). So what should I do? I was thinking maybe just take everything off my current phone (cancel texting, internet, etc), and just never use it, and let it stay dormant until the contract is over, and just cancel that line, and meanwhile just get a blackberry and have a new number. Does that make sense?
