I am currently 17, my 18th birthday is in a couple of months and I have yet to speak with a recruiter for any of the branches. My life dream is to get paid to be in the sky, to be in a helicopter, but I have yet to choose what path to go down to get there.
Now, I have gotten all of the details for both the civilian and the college path. I am now currently collecting info for the military path. Without going into much detail, I have fears of getting talked into something I don't want to be doing. Especially while speaking with recruiters. Is there any information you guys could give me for going down the military path? How reliable is the High School to Flight School program? Should I go to college first to enter a branch as an officer for better chances to become a pilot?
I have many concerns, so please don't play my questions off as irrelevant.
Thanks,
Evan
