I have done some research and asked around about becoming a forensic photographer. Here is the plan I came up with.
Right now, I am attending my local community college and I will have an Associate Degree in Photography at the end of this year. I plan on transferring to a 4 year school after that and finishing with a Bachelors in Criminology. After that, I am going to look for jobs, either in photography or criminology, whichever will help boost my portfolio. Then I want to get certified as a forensic photographer.
Does anyone know the proper method to go about doing this? I've heard that I can choose either Criminology or Forensic Science to major in. Someone said I should get degrees in both, but that will take way too much time. And not a lot of colleges in my area offer a degree specifically for Forensic Science. But they do offer Criminology.
Any help would be appreciated.
