I'm a thirteen year old who really loves to write. Now, my writing isn't exactly the best out there but I've got some good ideas that I've started to write down and in a few years I could probably put together a pretty good story.

But I'm worried because I'd love to get my work published but I'd imagine publishers would blow off a thirteen year old (or however old I'll be by the time I'm ready to have it published. . . maybe fifteen?) because I'm not an adult. I mean I really think I could have a series starting here and I really want to go somewhere with this. I've never wanted anything quite so badly (Except for bigger curls but, hey, life isn't fair by any stretch of the imagination).

Please help?

I'd love to believe you're never too young, because I'm 16 and I love writing and I think I have some great ideas too! Just never give up and put yourself out there.

Sweetie, you're never too young to write.

I'm fifteen and writing a book with my friend. It's true that some adults may not listen to you because you're young, just fight for it. Make them listen. Plus, if your writing just to get published, you shouldn't be writing at all.

Just write because you love it, and worry about the publishing later anyways. Just LIVE before you write about it.
