I want to be a penpal to a military service man/woman who is in the middle east please..

...help me do so? I really want to find a soldier to be a penpal to, but I don't just want to write a letter, I want a person to write letters to and hear back from consistently, a real penpal who is looking for one too, as in the ones who don't get a lot of letters or care packages from home. I've looked online and things are confusing and unclear about what to do, so can someone please help me find one and help me understand how to address it, etc.? I really want to do this for a service man or woman overseas in Iraq/afghanistan. Please help!!! ASAP

i know that im not going to hear back consistently, but i want a penpal, not just a random letter with random people, i want one person, maybe two, who needs support from home, to have a letter relationship with
and im not a creeper who wants like a weird love relationship with some married soldier, im just a patriotic citizen with great love for this country and its servicemen and women, id write a lady too, i just want to give support to someone who needs it and let them know people care
 
Contact the local USO if you want. Avoid the online sites that say they are for pen pals….in disguise they are dating sights with fake military guys on there looking for attention/to scam women under the guise of a lonely Soldier/Marine (which they aren't).

I don’t want you to get your hopes up though. If you think that you are going to build a relationship where some man is going to write a stranger a lot (which is what it seems like you want), then prepare for disappointment. A lot of men have families of their own that take care of them over there, and most single guys are not looking for a stranger to connect with through letters. Especially a stranger that wants them to "write a lot" back like you want.
