Write down anything that you can think of on your resume that would pertain to that of training to become a life guard.

First of course you will want to list your formal training, High School graduate, any college classes or degrees. After this list any awards you may have received while on a school swimming team or that which you may have earned while on a job etc.

Start with any experience in the field. Maybe a life guard at a day care camp, a YMCA, or a summer job as a life guard at a public pool.

List any articles that you may have written on the subject of work that you have done in this field. Any papers that you have prepared for a newsletter, a city newspaper etc. Also if you have given any talks on the subject of life guard or life saving techniques. CPR, First Aid or EMT etc.

Hobbies: list anything as a hobie that may also pertain to that of enhancing your chances of to be hired.

Make your resume look attractive, list any references that you may have. Any past jobs that you have held that could help.

When you print it out use good quality paper.

Also do not forget a good cover letter. One which introduces yourself and explains why you would like to start a career as a life guard.

Good luck
