I want to be a financial analyst?

I'm 18 and I'm a Sr in high school and I'm starting college in the fall. I love watching CNBC and i want to be a financial analyst as a career and work my way up. what classes do I need to take and what degree do I need?
..so an MBA in finance?
and im talking about the markets and investing etc
 
Get a bachelor's degree in accounting and get your CPA. After a few years of work, go back for your MBA to a top ten school. From there you'll be ready to start your finance career.

Finance is a pretty broad field, so find out which direction you want to go. Buy side or sell side. Financial services or management or even corporate finance.
