I would say watch a lot of high school stage productions. Learn their acting methods. Learn to fake cry. Practice mumbling in front of a chalkboard.

As for O'Reilly, the best thing to do is go down to your local pharmacy. Buy a douche, become best friends with it. Learn its ways.
