With only about 10 attempts i got back flips into foam pretty much landing them every time. But now I'm almost ready for the real thing after a few more runs into the foam. I don't have a resi mat in my area I'd have to drive a few hundred miles to get to one. My problem is which i guess isn't a problem because its smart but i wont do anything that i no there's a good chance I'm going to die or get seriously injured. What if i go to do a back flip on a ramp and I get scared and free up upside down? I'm dead. I was planning on doing the back flip from a launch ramp or quarter pipe to the deck of the ramp. What safety precautions can I take to insure I don't die. I'm already planning on wearing a full face helmet but what can i do so i don't break my neck?
