I want the old 3D icons on Android 2.1! (I dont like the new 2d icons for gmail etc)

Has someone got a screenshot of what the old and new icons look like? I've not seen the new ones - odd that they would make them look worse.
 
It's not as bad as I'd imagined - and in fact I think it's a clearer "email" type icon, as you can actually see the envelope. On the old one the huge red M camouflages the envelope.

Yea -- I assume that's why they changed it. But being a long time gmail user -- I don't really need an icon that is made to be more obviously email..... I like the original one, mostly for it's 3d ness, and more kind of cartoony icon look.
 
I think the icon pack mckoy attached above contains it. Though if you could modify that pack to use the current icons for the browser, contacts and phone -- that would be awesome.

Or actually - how easy is it to make your own icon packs?
 
Oh -- I was unclear -- I dont mean about how to make the icons themselves -- but rather how I make an Icon pack for better cut with a set of icon pictures in hand.
